The messages on Sweethearts Candies have always been sweet and innocent, but ultimately frivolous. So to make a splash for Valentines Day, we decided to make them mean what they say by giving them serious commitments.

People were directed to a landing page where they could commit for real by scanning any heart with their phone to then make it real.
We used AI to detect which messages the user scanned and then redirected them to unique landing pages. When you scanned the “4EVER EVER” heart, you were taken to a site where you could buy real matching Sweetheart headstones for $3,500 each.
When you scanned the “MARRY ME” heart, you were taken to a site where you could legally get married in 15 minutes via Courtly.
When you scanned the “Move In?” heart, you were taken to a site where you got a 25% discount to move with Piece of Cake Moving Co.
